How can I run sub-experiments within a test group for a new UI experiment?

Date of slack thread: 6/25/24

Anonymous: Hello,

How can I run a new experiment for users in the test group of my other experiment and so on? Is that possible? We would like to test a new UI and also test different UI components for this new UI. We need a general experiment and then some kind of sub-experiments for users seeing the new UI.

Thanks!

Tore (Statsig): You’re going to have overlapping interaction effects with that, if your test group has multiple different treatments. You may want to just model this as a single experiment with multiple groups - say 4 groups, and compare 3 different UI treatments to the control.
