How can I turn off measurement for a feature gate while keeping the gating functionality active?

Anonymous: How can I turn off measurement for a feature gate? I have a long-term holdout gate which is costing us a lot due to having measurement being turned on. We do not need measurement on this anymore but want the feature gating to continue happening.

Matt Garnes (Statsig): You can also toggle “measure metric lifts” for any feature gate which only affects the measurement and cost with no other effects. If this is a holdout though I’m not sure if we surface that toggle unfortunately.

Anonymous: Thanks Matt - I do see this and see the option to toggle it.

Anonymous: Would that keep the holdout active while removing measurement?

Vineeth Madhusudanan (Statsig): It would. Would you analyze holdout impact manually? FWIW if you used the native holdouts feature, we don’t count those checks as billable.
